Harpenden Academy Year 4 pupils had an exciting day out at the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden! The trip was a wonderful opportunity to explore how transport in London has changed over time—from horse-drawn carriages to electric buses and the iconic London Underground. The children enjoyed hands-on activities, explored different vehicles, and even got to climb aboard old trains and buses. It was fantastic to see them so engaged and full of questions. The visit linked perfectly to our Humanities topic - Transport Through Time, helping the children to understand how innovations in transport have shaped the city we live in today.
