Safeguarding Audit

A safeguarding audit is carried out annually in each of the schools and normally runs alongside the Peer Review.

It is a robust annual check on the safeguarding arrangements, processes and local challenges of the school; together with an annual check of the school’s SCR compliance. Meetings are held with for example the DSL, DDSLs, HOYs, attendance assistant and students at the school.

A report is provided after each visit with follow up monitoring visits if required. Heads have found this annual audit informative.
