Harpenden Academy
Harpenden Academy is a new and growing primary school in the heart of Harpenden and it is the first city school within Scholars’ Education Trust. We are housed in an award winning building which marries together a traditional Victorian school with modern architecture befitting the 21st Century.
At Harpenden Academy we believe in educating the whole child – both hearts and minds - so that our children are successful learners, who acquire knowledge and skills over a wide range of subjects and who, importantly, know their talents and successfully develop them.
It is our mission to celebrate children’s learning and encourage their aspirations and leadership skills to equip them for our ever changing world.
Like all schools within the Scholars’ Education Trust we follow A.C.E, Achievement, Care and Excellence. This underpins all we do and provides the children with a sound foundation to build their Primary schooling upon.
We offer a creative curriculum which is designed to entice learning and inspire the children. This, coupled with our commitment to first hand learning experiences create a positive and happy environment where learning can thrive and accelerate.
Through the partnership schools in the Trust we can create opportunities for pupils and members of staff alike ensuring that we are all exposed to forward thinking and innovative approaches to education.
