The first-ever SET Battle of the Bands took centre stage last week at Samuel Ryder Academy, bringing together talented musicians from secondary schools across the Trust for a thrilling evening of competitive music-making.

The atmosphere was electric as students showcased their musical talents, delivering incredible performances that captivated the audience. Adding to the excitement, our wonderful primary rock band made a special guest appearance, wowing the crowd with their energy and enthusiasm.

A huge congratulations to all the students who took part—each performance was truly remarkable. Special recognition goes to the Sir John Lawes School band, who triumphed in the KS3 category, and The Hemel Hempstead School Band, who secured victory in the KS4/5 competition.

With outstanding talent on display and an unforgettable evening of music, the first SET Battle of the Bands was a resounding success!
