Samuel Ryder Academy, Year 2 enjoyed a “WOW day” to celebrate a range of famous people linked to their History/Geography topic on Famous Historical People.

The children dressed up and shared facts about their famous person; they embraced the theme, dressed as kings/queens, prime ministers, astronauts, and many more historical figures, with the children wearing wonderfully creative costumes.

In the afternoon the children enjoyed making their DT cars linked to our learning about famous racing car drivers.

The children enjoyed an exciting day whereby their learning was brought to life!
