The Dragons' Apprentice Awards were held on Tuesday, 1^st of April at Shendish Manor. 

This is a Dacorum wide programme for Year 12 students, challenging them to raise £1000 for charity from a £100 float. 

The Longdean Dragons' Apprentices business was Huldra Recruitment, led by ex student Faria Chengeta and our charity was Waterways Experiences, with our liaison being John Bennett, former Longdean employee, so it really was TEAM LONGDEAN! The team did really well and achieved: £1,223.19. 

Although they didn't win the overall prize (the winners raised over £7000), they won the award for the team that has learnt the most over the process and are able to reflect on their experiences, 'Best Learning'.

Overall, the 15 teams raised over £30,000 for local charities.
