Gym and Dance returns after 2 years!

Posted on 11/02/2022

Sjl 3

How fantastic to have our Gym and Dance display back after 2 years and didn’t the performers and the audience enjoy it? In a slightly shorter but nonetheless packed evening, students from all year groups bounced and jumped and tumbled and balanced and generally showed just how much they’d missed being able to show off their skills. It was a really heart-warming experience to have them back on the mats and reminded us all just how important these activities are to the whole SJL community.

As always, it is particularly delightful to see our older students working with their younger colleagues coaching and choreographing them to achieve their very best – it was also lovely to have Mr Armitage back on the microphone after such a long break. Thanks to the PE department, and Mrs Hayden in particular, for all their hard work over the last few months ensuring that the evening was such a success.
