Positive Ofsted Report for Samuel Ryder Academy

The Trust is delighted to congratulate Samuel Ryder Academy on its recent Ofsted inspection outcome, which saw the school achieve six Strong standards and two Expected standards, reflecting the high-quality education and care provided for its students.

The report highlights the school's strong culture, supportive environment and commitment to ensuring every student can thrive. Inspectors praised the positive experiences of pupils, noting that "Pupils thoroughly enjoy attending school. They are well known by staff, are looked after and feel safe."

Inspectors also recognised the school's ethos, stating that "Leaders have created an impressive climate for learning and ethos of mutual support and respect. Staff and pupils alike feel valued, trusted and supported."

SRA expressed its pride in the outcome, saying: "We are very proud of this report. It demonstrates the outstanding commitment of our staff and the excellent attitude of our students."

The report further celebrated the views of families and the wider school community, noting that "Parents and carers hold the school in high regard. They praise the support of staff and the wide range of opportunities pupils have."

Among the most heartening findings were comments on the school's inclusive and ambitious culture. Inspectors described SRA as "a harmonious community where pupils of all ages happily work together" and recognised that "Pupils know the school wants them to be the best they can be. They rise to this high expectation and achieve highly."

This successful inspection outcome is a testament to the dedication of staff, students, governors and families, and the Trust is proud to celebrate this achievement with the entire SRA community.
