Collaboration sits at the heart of our MAT’s identity, and this spirit was powerfully reflected at Friday’s joint conference involving Samuel Ryder Academy, Priory Academy, Dunstable Icknield Lower School and the SET Central Team. The event brought colleagues together from across the trust to explore the theme Belonging Reimagined, creating a day rich in connection, insight and shared purpose.

The programme offered an impressive blend of external expertise and internal talent. Attendees enjoyed a wide range of sessions covering diverse topics, all delivered in an atmosphere that was both energising and supportive. The sense of collective commitment to improving outcomes for pupils was evident throughout the day.

We were delighted to welcome Luke Mitchell from Positive Regard, whose contribution was as engaging and impactful as ever, and Jess Wall from Chimp Management Ltd, who led a thought‑provoking session that encouraged colleagues to reflect deeply on their practice. Their input added real depth to the day and was warmly received by all who attended.
