Sir John Lawes School were delighted to welcome international lecturer James Dewar ACMA, MA, MSc as he delivered our first ever Bitcoin Diploma course - a globally recognised, open-source financial education programme designed to prepare students for the evolving digital economy. James, who is lecturing on the History of Money at Oxford University, will be leading a weekly course taking place this term.

The course will help to develop students’ financial literacy rooted in history, economics, and technology; equip students with knowledge of digital responsibility, privacy, and cyber-security; encourage independent thinking about global financial systems; and offer a rare chance to learn directly from a leading expert in the field.
