Posted on 25/06/2025
Staff from Across 12 Schools Unite Under the Theme of Belonging
Staff from all our schools across the Trust came together this week for a vibrant and inspiring conference centred on the theme of belonging. Held at schools across the Trust, the event brought together educators and support teams to celebrate shared values, strengthen connections, and explore what it truly means to feel part of a united community.
Through a mix of keynote speeches, collaborative workshops, and panel discussions, attendees reflected on how schools can nurture environments where every pupil and staff member feels seen, heard, and valued. The programme also highlighted innovative practices already being developed across the Trust to promote inclusion and wellbeing.
One attendee remarked, “It was powerful to be reminded that although we work in different settings, we’re all part of something bigger. We left feeling uplifted, supported, and more connected than ever.”
As the conference closed, a renewed commitment to championing belonging across all 12 schools echoed through the room—proving that when we come together with purpose, great things happen.
Claire Robin's, SET Co-CEO, remarked "Providing high-quality CPD for our Scholars’ Education Trust staff is a key priority for us and so is providing opportunities for them to feel part of the wider SET community. At this year's conference over 1,000 staff came together to reflect on an issue crucial to all of us, staff and students, and to spend time with colleagues across our schools with similar roles and responsibilities. It was a brilliant day which provided us all with a great deal of input and inspiration and I know our pupils will benefit from the insights we have gained."
