Buntingford First School nursery children noticed many of the pens had been broken... so they became real-life scientists as they explored the magic of recycling!

With the help of an adult, the children carefully opened up broken felt-tip pens, squeezed out the ink and watched in amazement as the water absorbed the colours! After exploring the magic of ink and water, our little eco-heroes put their discoveries to good use! Using the watered-down ink from recycled felt-tip pens, they experimented with different techniques to create stunning planet pictures!
