Harpenden Academy, Dahl Class spent a brilliant morning delving into the past in our locality. Visiting the Harpenden War memorial, noting down the names of soldiers who gave their lives from our area. They also investigated those who had lived during or through WW2 and when they got back to school, the pupils used the Commonwealth war graves website to research more information about the names they had discovered. A really powerful and meaningful morning well spent!
