Harry Potter™ World Visit

Today, Samuel Ryder Academy Year 6 children visited the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London to see The Making of Harry Potter™.

They enjoyed a Costume Characterisation session, seeing many of the actual costumes worn by the cast. This was followed by a guided Studio Tour in the Holding Room, Cinema and Great Hall. The children experienced some of the most iconic sets from the stories and films by J. K Rowling. This provided them with the ultimate opportunity to journey behind the scenes of the Harry Potter™ film series and experience the magic that has gone into creating the most successful film series of all time.

It was an absolutely amazing day; the children immersed themselves in this magical experience with such awe and wonder.

The trip will help support the Year 6 English curriculum and teaching throughout the spring term; it will help to develop the children's reading, writing and grammar skills.
