PGL Liddington for Year 7

Posted on 07/10/2024

On Wednesday, Samuel Ryder Academy Year 7 students travelled to PGL Liddington in Wiltshire for a residential and leisure adventure course.

This 3-day trip is organised each year as part of our induction programme to aid transition for students between primary and secondary school. It also provides a vast range of opportunities for students to make new friends in a fun and safe environment along with developing their team-building skills.

The students enjoyed many activities, including den building, climbing, zip wire, kayaking and archery as well as the giant swing; they’ve had so much fun in the sunshine. "Having the best time!" exclaimed one of our students! We couldn’t be more proud of how the students have conducted themselves; they have shown bravery and resilience while always supporting each other.

Thank you to all the staff who made this wonderful opportunity possible for the students.
