Last week, Samuel Ryder Academy Year 3 children enjoyed their one-night residential on the Fellowship Afloat in Maldon.

The Fellowship Afloat is a stationary light ship named Trinity where the children took part in activities such as sailing, archery and teambuilding tasks. This encouraged independence as they slept in cabins with their friends and helped with the running of the ship throughout the day.

The wonderful weather was enjoyed by the all of the children who had a fantastic time on this memorable trip.
