This week we hosted a fantastic information session for local individuals considering a career in teaching. Our Headteacher Philip Newbery opened the session talking about his own teaching career, followed by James Murphy Initial Teacher Training Director at Alban Teaching School Hub who gave some brilliant insights into the world of teaching. Our guests then had a chance to chat with a number of teachers before some of our Sixth Form students gave a tour of lessons taking place around the school. We hope all our guests left inspired by a career in teaching.
