This week Harpenden Academy has shown their support for SustFest. Thank you to everyone who has support this in school and locally. It is always a pleasure to see children and adults passionate about sustainability.

Ladybirds took part in some vegan baking. Elmer have been doing some ‘plastic free’ planting. Moomin Class have reused plastic bottles to create their own mini greenhouses. Team Potter have taken on the serious role checking if lights have been left on. They recorded their data in a table and are going to present their findings in a bar graph to Mrs Johnston. Milne class have created persuasive posters to encourage local people to reduce, reuse, recycle. Dahl class having such fun on the common on a nature walk, enjoying the nature all around us is good for us! Year 6 have been learning all about veganism and have created persuasive leaflets as well as turning their hand to some rather adventurous cooking!
