Pyjamarama Day

Posted on 17/05/2022

On Friday 13 May, Samuel Ryder Academy raised money for BookTrust, the UK’s largest children’s reading charity, as part of Pyjamarama. Children turned up for the annual event wearing their pyjamas, all helping to raise money to support children’s reading. The money raised from the fundraiser will be used to support those children facing difficulty in getting access to books, helping to ensure every child gets a bedtime story.

Reading at Samuel Ryder Academy is at the centre of children’s learning and development. As part of the fun-filled day pupils got to participate in a range of opportunities to explore and read a range of bed-time stories.

‘Teacher Bedtime Stories’ available on the school website.
