Sir John Lawes School Careers Day 2019

Thursday, 28 March 2019, Sir John Lawes School was delighted to welcome the Mayor of Harpenden to their annual Careers Day.  The aim of the day is to educate Year 12 students on the full array of opportunities available to them post A Level including School Leaver, Apprenticeship Programmes and Graduate Schemes. 

In the morning Sir John Lawes Year 12 students were joined by their peers from Samuel Ryder Academy and Robert Barclay Academy to attend 6 talks which they had selected from a carousel of over 50 presentations delivered by industry professionals. These talks provided a good base of knowledge which enabled our students to engage effectively with company stands at the afternoon Careers Fair.
